About

I am Princeray, but my name is Rayford Bullock, Rayford T. Bullock, R.T. Bullock or Robert Tass Bullock. I was born in Oakland, CA in an once black segregated housing building across the street from Chinatown. My father was born in Tylertown, Walthall County, Mississippi, and mother was born in and around Collinston- Bastrop, Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. During my most impressionate years, my father was covertly taken away (kidnapped) from my family and I by the Top Secret U.S. Navy- Project CHATTER.  He was never the same. It was not his fault, but for too many years of my life I blamed my beloved father for his weakness, illness and abandoning me. In infancy, I almost lost my mind. It left me with self esteem that was no bigger than a mole hill. I have an AA degree in African American Behavior Sciences, BA degree in Anthropology, and JD in Law, but for some reason my family history and heritage just wasn’t important or necessary. It may have involved my deep hurt and feelings of parental and family abandonment. I just didn’t believe that I needed them or their history and heritage. One day, my younger brother, Peaches, showed me a piece of paper with some names written on it. He said here is your maternal and paternal father and mother of your maternal grandmother, her sisters and brothers from Louisiana.  I said good. And, I told him that am sure that he would do a good job of developing a family genealogy. I turned my back and attempted to walk away. He said, Ray- this is your job. I turned back around shocked. I also lost my breath. My Dear Lord! God had indeed provided me with the all the spirit, courage,  tools and knowledge to find out what happened to my father. He often woke me up in the middle of the night for years in a cold sweat with the same vision crying out for me to unlock the secret of Project CHATTER and what they did to him.  God had provided me with all that I needed to help make me and my family whole from the ravages, badges and clouds of racism and Slavery that wasn’t their fault, either.  I wasn’t whole. My family, Peaches and I didn’t have a family history and heritage like other groups of people. We were lost as a people. We didn’t know our ancestors. We had no idea from where and from whom we came from. I told my dear late brother. You’re right. I took the paper and called my father’s name, and that of the ancestors- some for the first time since they perished in body.

I have a tin photo I’ve aquired that appears to be of the woman photographed in the article about Alice Packwood. Do you have any information about the origin of the photo or about the woman?

    Thanks.

      Dear Luke,

I am not sure at this moment, but let me think about it. Give me some background.
      Sincerely, Princeray
